The CRC office is located in the Greenfield Medical Library of the University of Nottingham Medical School.

General Directions

General directions for getting to the University Campus are available from the main University website, as is a map of the Campus, which shows the visitor's pay and display car park in the approximate centre of the campus. By car, come through the north entrance of University Park and follow the signs to Visitor Parking. It is then a five minute walk to the undercover footbridge to the Medical School.

Taxis

Taxis are available from the main railway station in Nottingham, which is also close to the Broadmarsh bus station, and from ranks elsewhere in the city centre. They should be black London-style cabs. Fares should be less than £10 (Jan.2011). Ask for the Medical School off Clifton Boulevard, rather than for the main entrance to the Queens Medical Centre (QMC).

Buses

You can take Rainbow 'Indigo' (a purple bus) from the Broadmarsh Bus Station (close to the train station), Friar Lane (near the Market Square) or other stops along the way. All Rainbow Indigo buses will take you to the QMC West Entrance. Rainbow Indigo is operated by Trent Barton and a timetable can be found here: Trent Barton Bus Timetables.

Nottingham has another bus company called NCT and all its Orange Line buses go to the QMC. However, they do not take you directly to the QMC West entrance but do drop off at the QMC main entrance - see: Nottingham City Transport.

Finding the Office

The Centre for Research Communications is located in the Greenfield Medical library in the Medical School. The entrance to the Medical School foyer is next to the covered footbridge over the ring road. On entering the ground floor, turn right, walk past the student café and on your left you will see the library's double doors. Ask at the reception desk to be shown to the CRC office.
